The clients’ wish for a versatile, informal family home resulted in a bright, day-lit architecture that comfortably accommodates a range of objects, furniture and pictures. The interplay of white surfaces, with natural wood cabinets and floors creates warmth and detail. The main space abuts a private, narrow garden, so multiple pairs of french doors are used to open the building to exterior spaces, light and vegetation.
