Restoration Hardware-Corte Madera

This typical prototype retail store was designed to experiment with ‘out of the box’ merchandising concepts for Restoration Hardware’s outdoor furniture display.  Buttrick Wong, in conjunction with design architect Backen, Gillam & Kroeger, was commissioned to refine the level of store design by drawing on their expertise in residential detailing.  Features include a vintage fence and garden entry inspired by a portcullis photograph, and a pair of large arched doors made from historic salvaged oak wood and custom iron forged hardware.
