JEROME
BUTTRICK formed Buttrick Architects in 1994. Jerome's prior experience includes
three years in the office of Regan Bice Architects in Berkeley, as project
architect specializing in custom residences, and three years with Hardy
Holzman Pfeiffer, in both Los Angeles and New York, engaged in commercial
and institutional projects. Originally from New York City, Jerome is a fourth
generation architect, and lives with his wife and two children in Oakland.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Northwestern University,
and a Masters Degree in Architecture from Harvard University. Current community
volunteer efforts include the development and expansion of the KALA Art
Institute, as well as the expansion and renovation of St. Paul's school
in Oakland.

TIM
WONG was a senior designer at Backen Gilliam Architects and at BAR Architects
for nine years prior to associating with Jerome Buttrick in 2000. He is
responsible for the design and production of various projects including:
a media entertainment center at Euro Disney, a flagship store for Pottery
Barn and Williams Sonoma, and custom homes in Aspen and Belvedere. Earlier
in his career he worked with Stanton and Associates, and Sandy & Babcock
where he designed housing projects including Fisher Island Condominiums
in Miami, Hills Brothers luxury residential towers, and a PGA master plan
in San Diego. Tim, a second generation architect, received his Masters Degree
in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and lives with
his wife and two children in Oakland, CA. |
